Old age home at Chillakallu

November 8, 2018

An old age home with all facilities has been started by Swami Rammanantha Sarasswathi at Chillakallu Ashram. Speaking at the event, Swamiji invited all service oriented individuals interested in providing social and spiritual service to become members of the Ramananda Seva Trust. 

Rammanantha Trust (UK) Scholarships

Over the last 5 years more than 40 students have graduated with the support of Rammanantha Trust (UK) scholarships and currently 104 students are receiving scholarships from the Trust.

Medical camp and development of herbal medicines

Ramananda Trust is in the process of developing a Herbal Indian medicinal system at Chillakallu. This process is expected to take some time. At present, the Trust provides free Allopathy medicines through medical camps conducted every 4th Sunday of the month.

Request For Donations For Ambulance Service

Donations are being requested towards procuring an ambulance for providing free ambulance service. Details of the cost are as follow: - 

 

COST OF VEHICLE – Rs.11-12 LAKHS

INTERNAL AMBULANCE EQUIPMENT – Rs.6-7 LAKHS 

TOTAL ESTIMATED COST - Rs.17 - 18 LAKHS 

Free Ambulance Service For Krishna Pushkar

Krishna pushkar is a very precious occasion taking place between 12th August, 2016 and 23rd August, 2016 in Andhra Pradesh. With blessings of Swamijji, a free ambulance service was arranged at the pushkar location in the famous Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swami temple, Vedhadri, Krishna district. The ambulance service operated 24/7 throughout the 12 day pushkar period. 

Diabetic Camps

August 28, 2016

With the blessings of SREE SREE RAMANANDA SARASWATHI SWAMIJI free diabetic camps are being held on the 4th Sunday of every month at the ashram. 47 patients attended the first camp which was held on the 24th of April, 2016. The number of patients has increased steadily with the most recent camp held on the 28th of August, 2016 attracting 245 patients. 5 camps have been conducted to date.

Mega Medical Camp at Vadarevu

June 12, 2016

Ramananda Trust (India) organised and held a Mega Medical camp at Vodarevu, Chirala, Andhra Pradesh, India on 27th March 2016.


Swamiji Ramananda Saraswati has given this opportunity to several patients to be treated free of charge by doctors and all medication was given at no cost to the patients.  All costs was borne by the ashram.  With Swamiji's blessing all helpers and patients have been the chance to do and receive such a wonderful service. 

Trip to Sri Lanka in January 2016

April 10, 2016

Swamiji and some devotees visited Upparu School, Kinniya, Trincomalee, where Swamiji laid the foundation for the construction of Saraswathi Temple, supported by Rammanantha Trust (UK). This was requested by the school for their educational prayers. Students were given school bags, followed by luncheon. Other students were met in Jaffna and Batticaloa. Thereafter, Swamiji visited some temples in the area.

My Marsden March

A Cancer Charity Walk organised in July 2015 at Harrow on the Hill was supported by several businesses and participated by young to old. We had the pleasure of the Harrow Councillor's presence. This was a very exciting and enjoyable day by all attended.

Trip to Sri Lanka in March 2015

April 4, 2016

Swamiji and some devotees  visited Sri Lanka in March 2015, where students were met at the Upparu School, Kinniya, Trincomalee. Here students were given clothing materials followed by a luncheon. Other students supported in Batticaloa and Jaffna were also met in their respective areas. Thereafter several temples were visited.

Events Held at Trust Premises

The following religious, cultural and charitable events are being held at the Rammanantha Trust (UK) premises on a regular basis: -

 

1.  Daily Poojas

2.  Bhajans and Yoga session every Friday

3.  Monthly Pournami Pooja and distribution of food to Old Age welfare societies.

4.  Annual Saraswathi  Pooja  and musical events performed by devotees.

5.  Annual Pongal celebrations to convey appreciation to the Sun God for providing the energy for agriculture.

 

Devotees are invited to attend these events.
